The story of taffy is remarkably difficult to trace, but popular versions indicate Atlantic cities, New Jersey, in the eighties. One story goes that a waves invaded a sweet shop owned by Joseph Fralinger, making his caramel sticky. Trying to save his goods, Fralinger supposedly called out for ass
